The Ashmolean is an amazing learning resource for schools and colleges, from early years to higher education. Our exciting school programme caters for all ages and levels including foundation, primary, secondary and A-level. We offer curriculum-linked outreach sessions, workshops, 'hands-on' activities and support to help you get the most out of your visit. All school visits must be booked in advance. We offer a service to schools, which provides a range of courses covering many areas of the National Curriculum. There are qualified staff to provide:
- advice and support about planning and enjoying a successful visit to the Ashmolean
- advice about using objects and archives in the Museum and in the classroom
- courses, workshops and INSET days for teachers
We are always pleased to discuss ideas you may have for using the Museum in different and creative ways.
For further information about booking and planning your visit and teaching resources we provide, see also Booking, Visit information and Learning Resources.
