On LiveFridays the Ashmolean opens its doors from 7.00 – 10.30 pm, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the Museum and see the collections after hours. Interactive events including theatrical performances, creative workshops and lively talks are also on offer, with drinks and dinner in the rooftop Dining Room on Level 4 and a bar in the vaulted Café on the Lower Ground Level.

LoveFriday welcome the summer LiveFriday to the Ashmolean for an evening dedicated to Love. Visitors will be invited to seek out love in the museum’s collection; through musical and theatrical performances and interactive workshops. Offering a shared journey, whether as a pre-existing couple or about to be acquainted, you can look forward to exploring the Museum and meeting like-minded people.
Speed dating in the Cast Gallery run by Ghazala Umar of Dine Together. Sessions will run at 7.30pm and 8.30pm and spaces are limited. Follow this link to find out more and book online.
