To prepare for the opening of the new Museum in November 2009, the Ashmolean Museum and Café are now closed.
The Shop is open for business as usual.
Open: Mondays 10 to 4pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays 10 to 5pm, Sundays 12 to 5pm
Restricted Access to the Print Room until November 2009
The Print Room of the Department of Western Art will be unavailable to the general public but will remain open by appointment for specialist visitors needing to see particular works, and also to support university and post-A-level teaching.
All requests for access and enquiries should be addressed in writing or by email to the Print Room Supervisor, waprintroom@ashmus.ox.ac.uk
Appointments may normally be made for Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm, and for the same hours on the first Saturday of each month.
The service of examining works of art owned by members of the public will be suspended during the period of closure.
