Security Industry Authority Close Protection course

16 days continuous training

Recommended For:
This course is for those who are looking to enter the private security industry as a close protection officer or for those already in the industry who want to increase their knowledge and to work in the close protection field.

In order to apply for an SIA licence to work as a close protection officer, the security industry authority has set a minimum guideline for training which is the level 3 Certificate in Close Protection. You will be required to pass this qualification before being granted a licence.

The course will cover the guidelines set down by the Security Industry Authority. Trainers are specially selected from a specific background of military, home office and ex law enforcement.

Certificates obtained:

  • FAAW (First Aid at Work) HSE
  • Level 3 BTEC in Close Protection Operations (SIA)
