The Mallett Gallery

The Mallett Gallery is one of our larger galleries - perfect for a ceremony or reception. It's furnished with chandeliers, a harpsichord and paintings by the Old Masters. A set of stairs leads into the main gallery which is perfect for creating your 'grand entrance'.

Guests – 100 (Ceremony/Drinks Reception)

The Atrium

The Atrium is in the heart of the Ashmolean where the colossal statue of Apollo from the temple of Zeus takes pride of place. This space is perfect for guests to enjoy drinks before the main event.

Guests – 150 (Drinks Reception)

The Randolph Sculpture Gallery

Located on the ground floor, the Randolph Sculpture Gallery is next to the grand entrance of the original 1845 Cockerell Building. The spectacular room features high ceilings and collections from Greece and Rome, making it a beautiful location in which to host your wedding breakfast.

Guests – 150 (three course dinner), 120 (buffet).

The Ashmolean Café

The Ashmolean café has robust flagstone flooring, vaulted ceiling arches and booth-style seating alcoves, so it offers a more informal setting, perfect for an evening of dancing and celebrating. Live bands or DJs can be set up here which would be a great end to a special day.

Guests – 200 (Evening dancing).
