With Oxfordshire poets

The Ashmolean welcomes back old friends, and new ones as well to our series of poetry tours in 2023.

Poets from Oxford and surrounding areas will explore and celebrate the Museum’s pieces, renowned or recherche, intriguing or glorious.

On this tour in March, our poet speakers will focus on work in the Dia al-Azzawi: Painting Poetry exhibition.

Poems will be recited next to the objects and artworks that inspired the poets. If you want to talk to the poets, most of us are friendly!
