In this short course of three Friday talks, art historian Juliet Heslewood examines three unique artists and their particular styles.

The themes for each talk are as follows:

Talk 1 Van Gogh: A Life in Places
Exploring some of the unusual motifs he preferred as he pursued his artistic career moving from place to place, and including many quotations from his own correspondence.

Talk 2 Toulouse-Lautrec: From Albi to Paris
An aristocrat in Montmartre and a pioneer of modern poster design

Talk 3 Matisse: Mad About Colour
‘Fauve’ A wild beast.

Booking is essential and tickets are £21. A ticket includes access to all three talks.
