Prints by Manet, Pissarro and their Contemporaries
Touring exhibition for hire
Showcasing prints created by Impressionist artists and their contemporaries this exhibition explores the development of print-making techniques, and the blurring of the boundaries between prints and drawings. The Impressionists’ characteristic subjects; the modern life of the city, portraits, landscape, and weather are all represented in these prints which, like their paintings, exploit and cultivate innovatory techniques and aesthetic effects. Many of the works included in the exhibition are being exhibited for the first time.
