Fishbourne Roman Palace is the largest residential Roman building in Britain, dating from 75AD. Its highlight is its many superb mosaic floors. There are also gardens, storerooms, a very interesting museum, a shop and a café. We shall have a delicious hot lunch nearby at the beautiful listed pub The Bosham Inn, overlooking Chichester Harbour (included). We shall then visit the Palace, with an introductory video and guided tour included. There will be time to explore and have tea in the café before returning.
