Handle historic coins from all over the world with our volunteers in the Money Gallery 7, usually every Saturday, from 11am-3.30pm. Subject to volunteer availability, so please check first if you're coming especially. FREE, drop-in.

Join Oxford poets for poetry recitals in the galleries. The next tour will take place on 4 Jul in Surovi's 'Climate, Culture, Care' exhibition in Gallery 8. FREE

Four popular Western Art galleries on the Level 3 Mezzanine will close for essential work this summer: Sickert & his Contemporaries (Gallery 63), Pissarro (Gallery 65), Pre-Raphaelites (Gallery 66) and the 19th Century Art (Gallery 67).

We appreciate your patience while we improve the environment in the galleries for the long term.

Join an Uncomfortable Tour this spring. Tours are usually monthly on Sundays.

These tours of the Ashmolean are run by Uncomfortable Oxford. They encourage discussion around the collections, highlighting uncomfortable spaces in the Museum, colonial origins, contentious histories and subject matter.

Each tour begins at 2.30apm and lasts for one hour & 15 mins.

Tickets are £16. Booking is essential
