Visitors to the Ashmolean can take pictures of the Museum's permanent collections. But photography of our temporary exhibitions or displays is not allowed.
We ask visitors to not use flash photography, and to be aware that photographs are for private use only. The “no photography” sign will say where permission to take photographs is not allowed
The use of video cameras, monopods and tripods is not permitted.
