Cushion Concert with the Orchestra of St Johns: Friday 29 October 7 - 10pm

Listen to the Orchestra of St. Johns performing live in the Museum’s magnificent atrium and see The Pre-Raphaelites and Italy after hours.

The Ashmolean is delighted to welcome the renowned conductor, John Lubbock, and the Orchestra of St. Johns, one of the most inspiring orchestras in the country.  In celebration of the exhibition The Pre-Raphaelites and Italy you can enjoy the following selection of classical music:

Wolf - Italian Serenade
Respighi - Il Tramonto
Tchaikovsky - String Serenade

7:00pm    Museum and exhibition galleries open
7:30pm    Concert starts, lower-ground floor atrium
8:30pm    Concert ends, exhibition open
10:00pm  Museum closes

There will be no allocated seating, please bring a cushion or fold-up stool for your comfort.
