Big Stitch 1

The Big Stitch attracted 5000 visitors

The Museum, with the Embroiderers’ Guild, celebrated all things embroidered on Saturday 1 December with ‘The Big Stitch’. Visitors young and old took part in a whole range of activities from adding to the world’s longest embroidery and decorating Japanese fans to watching cutting edge and traditional embroidery demonstrations as well as hearing from world leading experts in a series of talks.
