Marks/Maker: London, 1523-4 or 1534-5, maker's mark a 'fringed' S, possibly for William Simpson

This maker's mark occurs only on spoons with marks dating between 1515 and 1543. He appears to be the most prolific maker during the reign of Henry VIII.
