Exhibitions: Francis Bacon / Henry Moore: Learning
"Just back from a school visit to see the Bacon and Moore exhibition. My students were gob smacked! A fantastic collection - superbly curated and a pleasure to visit unlike many of the big shows in London - which can feel like being in a tube on the underground at times! It was an exhibition that really did take my breath away and that has not happened for many years. My heart was also warmed when my A'level students all came out inspired, enthusiastic and wanting to talk about the work. A great success, well done Ashmolean from a very happy art department ..... Oh and a pat on the back for the gallery staff for being warm, informative and approachable."

Information about school group bookings
- This is a charging exhibition but it is FREE for under 18's and booked school groups.
- Please note that we have limited time slots for school groups and we normally say a maximum of 20 students in the exhibition at a time. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
- Please note that there are no group bookings being offered in the period after Christmas i.e. 1-19 January 2014 as these are the last 2 weeks of the exhibition which we anticipate will be busy.
