With artist Kieran Stiles
Explore ideas about peripheral vision and why abstraction is interesting. This workshop is about creating textural effects by experimenting with mixed media.
When combining the fast drying polymer resin binder of acrylic paint with layers of watercolour washes, the medium becomes sticky and begins to granulate, creating blending effects.
Learn how to experiment with this process when describing the texture of trees.
Castle Wood by Kieran Stiles
Participants will have the chance to learn from Kieran Stiles and produce their own acrylic paintings.
All materials will be provided.
This event is part of our Love & Legacy season of events.
