With poet and writer, Louise Larchbourne.
Tickets are £135 each. Booking is essential.
Tickets will be available soon.
Using images, objects, and texts, compose your own poems inspired by the goddess Aphrodite, aided by poet and writer Louise Larchbourne
We'll discuss some well-known images from Western Art – including Botticelli's Venus, the Venus de Milo, and Aphrodite of Knidos – together with extracts from existing poems, to inspire you to compose your first poem related to the subject of Aphrodite.

Following this, we'll use the Aphrodite exhibition displays, with other research material, to compose a second poem.
And finally, there will be a chance to share the poems and reflect on bringing research into the practice of poetry.
All materials provided. Suitable for anyone who wants to develop their skills.
This event is part of our Love & Legacy season of events.
