This galleries' tour offers Members a unique opportunity to explore East Asian influences on the Ashmolean's splendid European decorative arts collection displayed in the Museum.

The tour will be led by Matthew Winterbottom, the Ashmolean's Curator of Decorative Arts and Sculpture. Matthew will guide you through several galleries including the West Meets East Gallery 35 and European Ceramics Gallery 40 (both on level 2), looking at ceramics, silverware and other remarkable decorative arts on show and how Chinese and other East Asian influences have made their mark.
