FLOWER ARRANGING WORKSHOP

Half-day practical session in the Ashmolean Learning Studio.

Choose between the morning or afternoon session:

10:30am-1pm OR 2-4:30pm.

In this contemporary floral art workshop you will be exploring concepts of wellbeing and connecting with nature to inspire your floral arrangements.

Designs created will consider the natural world, the effects of air miles bringing plants into the country, climate and contemporary trends of re-wilding. 

There will be no plastic foam, only hand-built structures, made by you from natural materials to support flowers grown on local flower farms.

The finished arrangement you make will enable you to enjoy the power of flowers and appreciate their natural beauty.
