POETRY IN THE GALLERIES JUL 2026

Drop-in, FREE activity on Saturday afternoon

Gallery 8, Lower Ground Floor

With Oxfordshire poets

Poets from Oxford and surrounding areas will explore and celebrate the Museum’s pieces, renowned or recherche, intriguing or glorious and newly-acquired artworks.

Poems will be recited next to the objects and artworks that inspired the poets. If you want to talk to the poets, most of us are friendly!

The July tour will be inside our free exhibition of Soma Surovi Jannat's remarkable drawings, paintings and murals, in Gallery 8 on the lower ground floor.
