With Oxfordshire poets

Poets from Oxford and surrounding areas will explore and celebrate the Museum’s pieces, renowned or recherche, intriguing or glorious and newly-acquired artworks.

Poems will be recited next to the objects and artworks that inspired the poets. If you want to talk to the poets, most of us are friendly!

The March tour will be inside the Mediterranean World Gallery on the first floor. This gallery features a large map with the important cities and sites of Mediterranean history, and wall cases with glassware, Venetian pottery, Byzantine jewellery, painted wooden icons, pilgrimage and personal objects.
