Gallery 17, Ground Floor, in the European Prehistory Gallery
With Oxfordshire poets
Poets from Oxford and surrounding areas will explore and celebrate the Museum’s pieces, renowned or recherche, intriguing or glorious and newly-acquired artworks.
Poems will be recited next to the objects and artworks that inspired the poets. If you want to talk to the poets, most of us are friendly!
The May tour will be inside the European Prehistory Gallery on the ground floor. This gallery features cauldrons, horns, axe heads, spears and bows as well as fine examples of metalwork and jewellery.
