'It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see'  Henry David Thoreau

One day each year people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly. That’s it. Simple by design, the goal is to focus on the art and the art of seeing.

So come and join us to look at five works of art in the Museum for 10 minutes each, and then meet together to talk about your experience over tea and cakes.

You'll be surprised at what artworks you see on the day, but our five chosen works will link to our Shaped by Nature season of events and In Bloom exhibition.
