Celebrate the art of the Japanese tea ceremony with grand tea master Kimura Shōshin. In this three-hour session, listen to an introduction to the tea ceremony before watching and sampling tea prepared by Kimura-san and his pupils. You will also learn how to appreciate historical tea utensils, and enjoy a demonstration of traditional Japanese wagashi sweet-making.
The session will be led by renowned Japanese tea master Kimura Sōshin, with support from his pupils and traditional craft specialists from the Hōshinkai tea school.
