Delve deeper into the exciting world of this versatile medium with artist John Somerscales and try out more advanced and sometimes unusual techniques.
We will consider how to compose and plan a painting considering composition, tonal range and colour temperature as well as the use of narrative effects such as dramatic skies, figures, smoke and steam.
