For 4 weeks a remarkable group of drawings by Michelangelo which returned from New York where they were a central feature of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art were on display. This was a unique opportunity to view these drawings, as a selection spanning Michelangelo’s career, before they returned to the graphic art collections in the Western Art Print Room.
