A contribution to the on-line catalogue of the Uffizi, Florence. The use of transmitted and raking light led to a reassessment of the use and function of a group of architectural drawings at the Uffizi, here connected with the workshop of the leading late Baroque architect, Carlo Fontana, and to new attributions.
