On the occasion of the exhibition "Rembrandt in Amsterdam," the Städel Museum organized an international conference dedicated to current art technological research on Rembrandt's paintings and works on paper. The conference brought together perspectives from the disciplines of art history and conservation and explored the question of which art technological and methodological approaches are currently at the forefront of Rembrandt research and what results they promise for future research.
