This father-daughter duo are known for their distinct yet deeply connected approaches to clay. Chris for his sculptural works that honour ancestral traditions and spiritual storytelling, and Freya for her bold, contemporary forms that embody narrative, intuition and the feminine.

Chris and Freya will be in conversation with Natalie Melton, Executive Director of the Crafts Council and a long-time champion of British craft. With over a decade of experience in the sector, including co-founding The New Craftsmen and leading roles in craft advocacy, Natalie brings deep insight into the world of making.

They will explore their individual and shared journeys, touching on technique, influence and creative collaboration.
