Often, when we are presented with paintings and we view them on display or see them in reproduction, there are parts to them that we do not see. Behind, under and inside these artworks there can be stories that only a few will ever be aware of.

Join Jevon Thistlewood, the Ashmolean’s Conservator of Paintings, for a glimpse into this world and discover some of the secrets of the Ashmolean’s collection.
