A repeat of the tour on 30 Sep
With Mallica Kumbera Landrus, exhibition curator and Professor and Keeper of Eastern Art, Curator of Indian, Himalayan and Southeast Asian Art
This small group tour is a great chance to see the recent works of Soma Surovi Jannat, who is the first artist from Bangladesh to hold a solo exhibition in a museum in the UK. Mallica will talk about Surovi's works, which are inspired by the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world.
Surovi's exhibition is entitled 'Climate, Culture, Care' and her artworks express her concerns about climate change and its impact on the region.
