With Tina Wells, Tai Chi instructor
Tina is looking forward to sharing a gentle 'Mindful Movement with T’ai Chi Chih' session for members in the European Art gallery at the Ashmolean on 20th August 2026. She will combine her experience as a Mindfulness coach and T’ai Chi Chih instructor to share simple mindful movements, helping you develop resilience to stress and maintain balance in Mind, Body & Emotions.
Her training as an Ecologist and UK Butterfly expert, will help you increase connection to Nature through grounding skills and sense meditation. ‘Tai Chi Tina’ hopes you leave with a feeling of ‘serenity in the midst of activity’ and an easy way to tap into inner peace in more daily moments.
No prior experience is needed and you can choose to sit or stand. Just let us know if you will need a chair. She recommends wearing comfy clothes, socks and to bring along a water bottle.
Tina offers in-person & online classes, weekend retreats and co-creates Wellbeing courses for the Oxfordshire Recovery College (part of Restore, a mental health charity).
We advise that this event is suitable only for those who can stand for 45 minutes. Please be advised that if you partake in this event, you do so at your own risk.
