Note this talk is followed by a galleries tour with Todd in the afternoon.
With master goldsmith and poet Todd Turner
The talk will discuss the technical precision required to fuse these heavy masses to a delicate wire hoop, a process that relies on the maker's mastery of heat and breath.
By pairing the physical object with its construction history, It is hoped to show that both a neckpiece and a creative work are built through controlled tension and the refinement of raw material into form.
