With artist & tutor Helen Garrett
During this one-day workshop, you'll make drawings and hands-on observations in response to the objects and artworks in the Ashmolean's Aphrodite exhibition.
In the studio, work on your ideas and initial sketches using natural materials and handmade paper with guidance and demonstrations from Helen Garrett the tutor. You'll also be able to create artworks with natural pigments while exploring the qualities and symbolism of this iconic goddess.
There will be real objects from the handling collection to use, as well as lots of other visual stimuli to help explore your creativity.
