With Tina Wells, Tai Chi instructor
Tina is looking forward to sharing a gentle 'Mindful Movement with T’ai Chi Chih' session for members in the European Art gallery at the Ashmolean on 20th August 2026. She will combine her experience as a Mindfulness coach and T’ai Chi Chih instructor to share simple mindful movements, helping you develop resilience to stress and maintain balance in Mind, Body & Emotions.
Her training as an Ecologist and UK Butterfly expert, will help you increase connection to Nature through grounding skills and sense meditation. ‘Tai Chi Tina’ hopes you leave with a feeling of ‘serenity in the midst of activity’ and an easy way to tap into inner peace in more daily moments.
Tina offers in-person & online classes, weekend retreats and co-creates Wellbeing courses for the Oxfordshire Recovery College (part of Restore, a mental health charity).
No prior experience is needed for this event and you can choose to sit or stand. Just let us know if you will need a chair.
Tina recommends wearing comfy clothes, socks and to bring along a water bottle. Please be advised that if you partake in this event, you do so at your own risk.
