MUSEUM SHOP

The main Museum shop on the lower ground floor is open from 10am to 5pm daily. There's something for everyone, from cards and jewellery to exhibition catalogues.

Every purchase supports the Ashmolean. There is also the Exhibition shop on the 3rd floor.

EATING & DRINKING

Enjoy the Rooftop Restaurant for lunch and afternoon tea, from 11.30am. Or stop off at our café for food and drink to eat in or take away from 10am. Both open daily until 5pm.

Arts of the Renaissance Gallery 56 – Rings Display Removed

The rings have been removed from the Finger Rings display in the Arts of the Renaissance Gallery (56) on Level 2, while the case is being renovated.

We apologise for an inconvenience caused.

Egypt at its Origins Gallery 22 - Closure on 16 and 17 Sep

This ground floor gallery will close for two days on 16 & 17 Sep (one of the giant Min statues will be removed to go on loan). All other Egypt galleries stay open.

Rooftop Restaurant – Closure 20 Sep 2025

On 20 Sep 2025, the Rooftop Restaurant will be closed all day for a private event.

On 9 Oct 2025, the Rooftop Restaurant will be closing at 4pm (last orders at 3.30pm) for a private event.
