You can now book your self-guided visit online if you're a tour operator, language school or other commercial group.
The Ashmolean is maintaining Covid-secure measures to prioritise the safety of our visitors and staff. So that we can all enjoy the collections safely, you will notice a number of changes at the Museum.
Entry to the Museum is free but pre-booking is recommended to guarantee entry at busy times and to save time on arrival, but is not essential.

Visitors and our staff may continue to wear face coverings if it makes them feel comfortable.
There are no longer any special recommendations for social distancing.
