EXHIBITION TICKETS

Complimentary tickets are not available to the media during the final weeks of the exhibition.  All admission from 23 December 2025 onwards must be booked online or in person at the Museum.

General admission policy
Complimentary tickets are reserved for members of the media who have a confirmed commission from an accredited media outlet to report on or review the exhibition.  Complimentary tickets must be requested from the Press Office at least two days prior to the intended date of visit.  We are unable to guarantee entry during busy times. Guests accompanying journalists must book tickets. Journalists visiting in a personal capacity or who do not have a confirmed commission with an accredited outlet must book tickets online or at the Museum.

Press images for temporary exhibitions and news announcements are available to download from Dropbox.  Links are indicated in the accompanying press releases (below).  For any other requirements please contact the Press Office (above) and we will be happy to help.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The Press Office can facilitate filming and photography for members of the media covering the Ashmolean’s exhibitions and news announcements. News-filming and photography must be arranged in advance.  Contact us (above) and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
